No Doubt Making Comeback In 2009

November 25th, 2008 by Skankity Spence

To all of my old friends from elementary and middle school [and even high school]… NO DOUBT IS COMING BACK!!! HOLY CRAPPPP!!!!

That’s how I would respond to this if I were still in grade school. This is how I respond when I’m in college… NO DOUBT IS COMING BACK!!! HOLY CRAPPPP!!!!

It’s old news that No Doubt really is coming back, Gwen and everything, but the fact that gears are actually turning for there return… well, it’s just awesome to see. All original bandmates are coming back [post-Tragic Kingdom, of course] …Gwen, Adrian, Tom and Tony.

What’s actually rumbling in the band that is No Doubt?

- Website re-design – This reveals new photo shoots of the band, obviously back together and ready to jam for us! This also includes a music player that plays literally all of there released songs to date. [Link to every song ever officially released]
- Performance Announced! – No Doubt will headline day two of The Bamboozle Festival on May 3rd,2009.
- 2009 Tour! – In the link to left, No Doubt reveals that they are planning a big tour in 2009. But does this mean with new music? Apparently, they are still recording and writing – and plan to do much of the work while on tour. This probably means a lot of their old stuff will be played more than new stuff, if any new music played.

Lot’s of good things coming in the direction of No Doubt fans, such as me, and I cannot wait for there seemingly epic return! The only thing that could make this any better is if they really revisit there ska roots – which Adrian pretty much confirmed.

It still doesn’t change the fact that Gwen sold out. It’s just a publicity stunt, you know that, right? Probably to get money. I’m not going to support the sell out.

Yeah, Gwen has sold out. I didn’t appreciate her taking an absence from the band to form her own thing, but I’ll always love No Doubt. They got me on the ska bandwagon. Still in super-duper love with them. The whole nine yards. I don’t care about selling out if they have the music to back it up.

BTW, checked your band out. Awesome stuff. Is it unreasonable to head down to the dirty south? (Lafayette) I can hook you guys up with some places to play at.

Thanks for the comment, too. It’s lonely here.
