June 17th, An Event!

June 14th, 2008 by Skankity Spence

Mozilla officially announced that ‘Download Day’ is June 17th – this coming Tuesday. They’re also encouraging users to host parties and invite friends to participate in the record setting event. This leaves me with a question: How will these parties be done?

Download DayDo you download the app before you arrive? After the party? Bring your laptop? (I don’t have a laptop.)

Maybe it should be treated as a LAN Party thing and all bring our computers into one big house. For… one download? I don’t know. But Firefox is having a BBQ. If you’re around the Mountain View area in California, you may be invited.

I know! Maybe we can all bring our computers together, download the app and then blissfully ignore it whilst playing the sneak peek of SPORE. Or ignore Firefox all together.

Whatever your plans, surely you must have something geeky going on!
